This can be from a number of different things such as a virus or an illness originating from raw meat. Children are often more susceptible to vomiting. Regulate how much your child is eating. In particular you want to monitor her amount of sweets. Eating too much sugar can cause a child to vomit and the only way to prevent this is to make sure you know what goes in your child's mouth.

Cook all meat, chicken and eggs until well done. Undercooked food can cause vomiting. You can also prevent vomiting by teaching your children to wash their hands before and after handling meat.

    • 3

Give your child some children's Tylenol if he has a fever or a headache. Headaches can sometimes cause vomiting so if you have your child rest and you get rid of the headache, you will prevent the vomiting.

Have your child drink plenty of water if you think she is not feeling up to par. Water not only keeps the body hydrated, but it also cleanses the body of any toxins. If you get rid of the toxins you will prevent a possible bout of vomiting.
