How to Read an Exergen Thermometer

The intended use of the Exergen thermometer is in babies and children, and it can be used while the subject is sleeping; however, it is effective for use by all members of the family. It is a substitute for taking temperature through the ear, which can be difficult in children with an ear infection. The Exergen thermometer has been proven more accurate than ear temperature sensors in a study conducted by Harvard Medical School.
