The Five Stages of Grief ?

1. Denial

This is the first stage and is often accompanied by shock and disbelief. The person may have difficulty accepting the reality of the loss and may try to avoid thinking about it or talking about it.

2. Anger

This stage is often characterized by feelings of anger and resentment. The person may be angry at the person who died, at themselves, or at God. They may also lash out at others or become irritable and difficult to be around.

3. Bargaining

This stage is characterized by attempts to make deals or bargains in an effort to change the outcome of the loss. The person may try to promise something or do something in exchange for the return of the person who has died.

4. Depression

This stage is marked by feelings of sadness, emptiness, and despair. The person may lose interest in activities that they once enjoyed and have difficulty sleeping and eating. They may also withdraw from others and become socially isolated.

5. Acceptance

This is the final stage of the grieving process and is characterized by a sense of peace and acceptance. The person may still experience sadness, but they are able to manage their grief and move on with their lives.
