How to Replace a Contact Lens
Contact lenses can correct the vision for either near-sighted or far-sighted individuals. Wearing contact lenses provides freedom from glasses while still providing visual acuity. It is important to replace your contact lenses inside of the manufacturers provided time-scale, whether they are daily, bi-monthly or monthly wear contact lenses. Incorrectly fitted contact lenses can be uncomfortable and may also cause damage to the eye if there is debris behind the lens.Things You'll Need

Wash your hands with soap and water. Dry them thoroughly. Take care to remove any lint on your fingers from the towel.

Remove the contact lenses from their storage case.

Clean the contact lenses using fresh cleaning and disinfecting solution.

Ensure that the contact lens is not turned inside-out by looking at its side profile, which should resemble a curved shape.

Place the contact lenses in your eyes one at a time, making sure that they are free from any debris.

Blink gently to ensure that the lenses are correctly positioned and that there are no air bubbles.

Rinse the storage case with sterile cleaning and disinfecting solution and leave open to dry.
