* Does not provide medical care
* Can help you to feel more comfortable and confident during labor and birth
Lactation Consultant
* A health care professional who is trained to help women with breastfeeding
* Can provide support and guidance during the early days of breastfeeding
* Can help you to overcome any breastfeeding challenges
Childbirth Educator
* A health care professional who provides education about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
* May offer classes or workshops
* Can help you to prepare for the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy and childbirth
Pediatrician
* A health care provider who specializes in the care of children
* Will care for your baby after birth
* Will provide well-child visits and sick visits
* Can help you to keep your baby healthy
