When do pregnant women start showing?
In general, women who are carrying a single baby will start showing earlier than women who are carrying twins or multiples. Women who are petite or have a shorter torso may also start showing earlier than women who are taller or have a longer torso. The amount of weight a woman gains during pregnancy can also affect how soon she starts to show. Women who gain weight rapidly may start showing earlier than women who gain weight slowly.
Here are some of the signs that you may be starting to show:
* Your clothes are starting to feel tighter.
* You may be having more difficulty finding clothes that fit.
* Your waist is starting to disappear.
* Your breasts may be getting bigger.
* Your belly may be starting to feel firmer.
* You may be noticing stretch marks on your belly or thighs.
If you are experiencing any of these signs, it is likely that you are starting to show. However, the only way to be sure is to talk to your doctor.
