Had a d and c on Nov 8th 2010. Four days ago I got positive pregnancy test at home then next day had negative. Went to doctors my hcg level was an 8. Could be pregnant again?
A positive pregnancy test followed by a negative test and a low hCG level of 8 may indicate a chemical pregnancy or an early miscarriage. Chemical pregnancies occur when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus but fails to develop properly. They often result in a positive pregnancy test but can be followed by a negative test as the hCG levels decline. An hCG level of 8 is considered very low and is not typically indicative of a viable pregnancy. To determine if you are pregnant, it's important to have your hCG levels monitored over time. If your levels continue to rise, it may indicate a viable pregnancy. If they decline or remain low, it is likely that you experienced a chemical pregnancy. Your doctor can provide you with more information and guidance based on your specific situation.
