What type of pill has destroy pregnancy?
The morning-after pill, also known as emergency contraceptive pills (ECPs), are used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. These pills contain high doses of the hormones estrogen and progestin, or progestin-only, and work by delaying or preventing ovulation, or by preventing the implantation of a fertilized egg in the uterus. Morning-after pills are most effective when taken within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected sex, but can still be effective up to 5 days (120 hours) afterwards. It is important to note that morning-after pills are not the same as abortion pills, which are used to terminate an already established pregnancy.
