Can a pregnancy test detect in the tubs?

Pregnancy tests detect the presence of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), which is produced by the placenta after implantation of a fertilized egg. This hormone can be detected in the urine or blood of a pregnant woman, but not in the fallopian tubes. The reason for this is the anatomical placement of the fallopian tubes, which connect the ovaries to the uterus. When an egg is released from the ovary, it travels through the fallopian tube towards the uterus. If fertilization occurs, the embryo will implant in the wall of the uterus, where it will begin to produce hCG. Therefore, a pregnancy test cannot detect a pregnancy that is still in the fallopian tubes.
