Silagra Safety

Silagra is an oral therapy for erectile dysfunction. It is the generic version of Viagra and is marketed by Cipla, a prominent pharmaceutical company in India.
  1. Function

    • Silagra improves the blood flow to the penis, promoting erection in response to sexual stimulation.

    Usage

    • Generally, the recommended dose of 50 mg is taken approximately one hour before sexual activity. If you are trying Silagra for the first time, it's recommended that you start with a dose of 25 mg. Silagra should be taken only once per day.

    Side Effects

    • Side effects with Silagra are rare, but they can occur. Headache, flushing of the skin, and vision disturbances are the most commonly reported side effects. Statistics show that the discontinuation rate due to adverse events is less than 2.5 percent.

    Warning

    • Silagra has been shown to be dangerous for patients with low blood pressure, and it also can amplify the effects of nitrate medication.

    Considerations

    • Studies performed on healthy volunteers with single doses of up to 800 mg have shown no adverse effects. If an overdose is suspected, however, seek immediate medical attention.

    Misconceptions

    • Many people believe that Silagra will enhance their sex drive or libido. This is not the case; any increase in libido is attributed to psychological effects.
