Can Men cause women to have UTI?

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are not transmitted through sex. Anyone can develop a UTI at any time; women are actually much more prone to these infections that men. The proximity of a woman's urethra allows easier access for certain pathogens that cause most UTIs.
