How many GCSEs do you need to become a doctor?
In order to become a medical doctor in the United Kingdom, you would need to obtain excellent GCSE grades, followed by a high A-Level (or equivalent) grades. You would then need to complete a five or six year undergraduate degree in medicine (MBBS). After this, you would then be required to complete a two year Foundation Programme, before being able to become a fully qualified doctor.
