How to Alternate Tylenol & Motrin in Infants

Fevers indicate that something is wrong. In an infant a slight fever may be caused by something as simple as teething. A higher fever, however, can mean that the infant has an infection. If the fever is not brought down, the infant can suffer a seizure. Motrin, a name brand of ibuprofen, alone may not always bring the fever down quick enough. In this case, Motrin and Tylenol, a name brand of acetaminophen, can safely be used together.
