Directions for the Feel Secure Unit Medical Alert System

If you have an older or disabled loved one who lives alone, you can spend a lot of time worrying about his or her safety while you are away. The Feel Secure unit by Telemergency is a device that will call a predetermined emergency number and play a recorded message in the event of a problem. A few steps are required to set the unit up so the user can get the medical help he or she needs with just the touch of a button.

Instructions

    • 1

Move the "Record/Normal" switch to the "Record" position once the unit has been installed. Press the "E1" button, which has a first-aid symbol on it, and hold it down for several seconds until you hear a loud beep, indicating you can now record your message.

Speak slowly and clearly into the unit to record your message. The message you are recording needs to be less than 10 seconds long and will be heard by emergency personnel in case of an incident. Be sure to include the address of the home and mention that there is a medical emergency and help is needed.
