    • Putnam Behavioral Healthcare specializes in outpatient alcohol and drug abuse treatment lasting 30 days or less and detoxifcation. Programs geared toward pregnant/postpartum women struggling with substance abuse also are available. Low-income clients may be eligible for payment assistance.

    • This program is funded by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and is targeted toward youths. Local agencies provide screening, referrals, assessment and counseling. Services also are geared toward family counseling when possible.

    Al-Anon

    • Al-Anon is geared toward family and friends of alcoholics. This support system entails meetings in which attendees share stories and provide support for one another. These are confidential meetings that take into account the 12-step program followed by recovering alcoholics. The meetings are weekly, and publications can be mailed upon request.
