What are the five good health habits?

The five good health habits are:

1) Eat a healthy diet. This means eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. It also means limiting unhealthy fats, such as saturated and trans fats, and added sugar.

2) Get regular exercise. Adults should get at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity each week. Children and adolescents should get at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day.

3) Get enough sleep. Most adults need around 7-8 hours of sleep each night. Children and adolescents need even more sleep.

4) Manage stress. Stress can take a toll on your physical and mental health. Find healthy ways to manage stress, such as exercise, yoga, or meditation.

5) Avoid tobacco smoke. Smoking is one of the leading causes of preventable death. Avoid secondhand smoke as well.
