Do abused children get good grades?

Not necessarily. There is no clear pattern regarding the academic performance of abused children. Some may excel in school as a coping mechanism or to seek recognition, while others may struggle due to emotional, psychological, or physical barriers or disruptions related to the abuse experienced, including changes in school attendance/transferring schools etc. Many factors influence success/performance at school beyond abuse.
