How can you tell if a woman is sterile?
There is no one surefire way to tell if a woman is sterile. However, there are a number of factors that can increase the likelihood of infertility, including:
Age: Women's fertility declines with age, especially after the age of 35.
Weight: Obese women are more likely to be infertile than women who are a normal weight.
Certain medical conditions: Some medical conditions, such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), can cause infertility.
Previous surgery: Surgery on the reproductive organs can sometimes damage the fallopian tubes or ovaries, leading to infertility.
Radiation or chemotherapy: Radiation or chemotherapy treatment for cancer can damage the reproductive organs and lead to infertility.
If you're concerned about your fertility, it's important to see a doctor to discuss your individual risk factors and get tested if necessary.
