How to Locate an Egg Donation Center
Donating eggs is the process in which a woman gives one or several of her eggs to help another woman conceive or for medical research. Since many couples face infertility issues, donating eggs will greatly assist their reproductive ability and/or future couples who face the same issue. Whether you're donating your eggs or receiving a donation, finding the right physician and facility can be a daunting process.Instructions

The first place to start is through your family physician and OB-GYN. Not only can they recommend someone reputable, but they can provide advice that's specific to you and your health.

Visit online for egg donation resources. Websites are appropriate if you're just looking for information and haven't discussed the issue with your family yet. Some places to browse are Fertility Pro-Registry (fertilityproregistry.com), Center for Egg Options (egg411.com), Egg Donor Center (theeggdonor.com) and Egg Donor Program (eggdonation.com). When you're ready, the websites will direct you to a facility and/or clinic near you for further assistance.

Depending on where you live, your community might be a great resource for egg donations. Most hospitals have specializations in which millions of dollars are poured into the departments for medical research, staff and equipment. Many (but not all) hospitals specialize in fertility. Find out if your local hospital specializes in fertility and see a physician of that department. Even if your closest hospital doesn't specialize in fertility, they might be able to recommend the nearest hospital or clinic that does.
