The second largest gain was recorded for middle-aged women between 40 and 49 years old. They increased average weight by 25.5 pounds between 1960 and 2004.
Women 60 to 74

Women between the ages of 60 and 74 recorded the lowest gains with an average increase of 17.5 pounds during the same time period.
