What Are the Visual Differences Between Premarin & Prempro?
Both Premarin and Prempro are made with conjugated estrogens from a pregnant mare's urine. They are used to treat the symptoms of menopause in women. They are both made by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, now a part of Pfizer.-

Both Premarin and Prempro pills are the same shape but come in different colors. Premarin comes in a dark green or maroon. Prempro comes in a light tan, a light baby blueand a pastel pink.
Size

Prempro tablets come in three sizes, printed on the pills as: 1.45 mg/1.5 mg; 0.3 mg/ 1.5 mg and 0.625 mg/ 2.5 mg. Premarin comes in five sizes, printed on the pills as 0.3 mg, 0.625 mg, 0.9 mg, 1.25 mg and 2.5 mg.

Premarin has the entire brand name printed on the tablets while Prempro merely has a W, which is short for Wyeth. The names can be found over the size listing, which appear on only one side of the tablet
