How to Use Mary Kay Skin Care Dermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is an abrasive facial cleaning method that polishes skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Many people believe they can only get this procedure at a cosmetologist office. Today's skin care technology allows you to take advantage of this cleansing process in the privacy of your own home. Companies like Mary Kay Cosmetics sell at-home dermabrasion kits that are safe and simple to use.

Push your hair back from your face with a headband.

Remove eye makeup with baby oil or eye makeup remover.

    • 4

Wet the soft cloth in warm water. Wring the excess water out of the cloth.

    Microdermabrasion

    • 5

Squirt a quarter sized amount of cleanser into your cloth. Clean your face with the cleanser. Clean all areas including your neck, forehead, chin and cheeks. Scrub your skin no longer than one minute.

    • 6

Rinse the cleanser from your face with warm water.

    • 7

Remove the bottle in your kit labeled "Refine." This product contains tiny cleaning crystals that will slough off your skin.

    • 8

Squirt a quarter sized amount into your palm. Rub the "Refine" liquid on your face. Use a wet cloth to rub the cleanser into your skin. Start at your forehead rubbing the product into your skin in a circular motion.

    • 9

Cleanse your entire face with the "Refine" liquid. Avoid getting the product in your eyes.

    • 10

Rinse your face thoroughly with cool water. Remove all the abrasive crystals from your face.

    • 11

Remove the bottle marked "Replenish." Twist the cap and release a dime-sized amount into your hand. Rub the replenisher into your skin to seal up pores and heal skin.

    • 12

Pat skin dry with a clean towel.
