1
Use your progesterone cream only from around the time of ovulation to two weeks post-ovulation if you are trying to conceive. Test for pregnancy and if the test is negative, stop using the cream and allow your period to start. If you are pregnant, see your doctor right away. He may advise you to use it for another few weeks or perhaps throughout your pregnancy.

2
Apply your progesterone cream starting after your period ends until day 28 of your cycle (four weeks after the beginning of your period) if you are trying to regulate your menstrual cycle. Simply stop using the cream on day 28 and let your period start.

3
Skip the progesterone cream if you have already experienced menopause but are having some vaginal bleeding. Give it a few days before resuming your regimen. After menopause, there is often no reason to stop using the cream, but, if so, discontinuing it should not cause any harm.
