How to Flatten You Abdomen After a C-Section
Delivering a baby through cesarean section is a major operation that required your stomach and abdominal muscles to be cut. Your body will need time to heal before you can flatten your stomach through exercise. Talk to your doctor to make sure there are no complications. If she gives you the go ahead, you can begin Kegel exercises immediately and work your way up.Instructions

With your doctor's OK, begin Kegel exercises right after your baby is born. Contract your pelvic floor, the muscles beneath your pelvis, and hold for three to five seconds. Work at this until you can do 20 in a row, three to five times per day.

Increase your exercises to include crunches and yoga sit-ups four to six weeks after your baby is born. Lie on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground for the traditional crunch. With your hands behind your head, pull yourself up until you feel a pull in your stomach. Hold for a count of four, then release. Do this 10 times and do more when you can.

Pull yourself up toward your knees and release back to your starting position. Pull your left elbow to your right knee, then back to the starting position. Pull your right elbow to your left knee and back . Pull both elbows toward your knee again. Do this routine five times in a row, increasing as you are able. This will help flatten the pouch caused by the baby weight.

Begin a cardio routine. Cardio is important in order to burn off baby fat and reduce the size of your stomach. Try for 30 minutes of cardio three to four times per week. Some suggestions include running, fast walking, jump rope, dancing, sports and using the treadmill or the elliptical machine.
