If you suffer from allergies or asthma, your allergic reactions or asthma attacks could worsen during the two weeks leading up to the start of your period.
Aches

Cramps or pain in your abdomen, thighs, breasts or lower back are the best indication that your period is about to arrive within a day or two. You might also suffer a sore throat, mild to severe headaches, or fainting spells.
