Feminine Odor Cures

Few things can be more embarrassing than unhygienic body odor. If you notice you emit more smell from your body than other women, you may want to see your doctor and rule out any medical conditions. If a medical condition is ruled out, do not fret because there are some simple things you can do in order to eliminate and or cover any unwanted feminine smells you have
  1. Keep Clean

    • Sometimes unwanted odors can be eliminated simply by making a change in your routine. For instance, if you bathe at night and notice that you have some excess body odor throughout the day, switch your bathing time to the morning. Sweating while you sleep may cause some excess odor that can be easily avoided with this simple change. Additionally, make sure you bathe after intercourse and never skip a shower on a day when you have your period. Shower immediately after exercise. Consider using cleansing wipes such as baby wipes or feminine wipes after using the bathroom to keep yourself extra clean and prevent odors. When wiping, be sure you wipe front to back.

    Stay Dry

    • Excess moisture under arms or the vaginal area may cause unwanted odors. Resolve underarm wetness by switching deodorant to a stronger brand or one that is powder-based instead of gel-based. Wear breathable clothing that is less likely to make your perspire. For your vaginal area, consider using a small amount of baby powder inside your underwear to help reduce moisture.

    New Scent

    • Add some new scents into your routine to mask unwanted odors. There are a number of ways to wear new scents. Use a scented body wash and lotion before dressing. Wear perfume on your neck and wrists; make sure to wear an unscented lotion so you do not have to competing smells on your skin. Spray your body and clothing with a light-scented body spray. The useful thing about body sprays is they can be carried in small bottles in one's purse and used throughout the day.
