First of all, the pill is a pregnancy preventer as it thickens the cervical mucus and uterine lining. This makes it harder for sperm to penetrate into the uterus, thus making becoming pregnant more difficult.
The pill does treat other women's-health problems. They include: dysmenorrhoea or painful periods, menorrhagia or heavy periods and endometriosis. Menstrual irregularities and severe PMS cases can also be treated with Nordette birth control pill.
How To Use Nordette
-
This 28 day pill pack should be taken in order. It's important to replace a pill if it is missed, when the next dosage is to occur. When taking Nordette, be sure to take the birth control pill at the same time every day as it helps the body to regulate to the hormones it is consuming. This is especially important at the onset use of Nordette. When first beginning a new birth control pill, always use a secondary birth control method at first. Storage of Nordette is also important, all birth control pills should be stored in room temperature heat.
