    • The main problem with fibromyalgia for women is the constant pain. It feels like it travels all through the body. Sometimes it feels like the muscles are in spasms, while other times it feels like it is a deep intense pain in the body. The severity of pain varies through time, but it never fully goes away.

    • Women have some pelvic pain with the condition. Sexual intercourse can be very painful. Plus, a woman can have very painful menstrual periods.

    Fatigue

    • Fatigue is a common symptom of fibromyalgia. It is hard for a woman to fall asleep or to stay asleep.

    Digestive Problems

    • Most women experience gas and abdominal cramping with fibromyalgia. A woman will also have issues with both constipation and diarrhea. There are also issues with heartburn, and they have a hard time swallowing.
