1
Shampoo and rinse hair thoroughly before applying extensions. Do not follow up with conditioner, as this will most likely cause the bond to not stick.
-
2
Split your tracks. Your hair extensions come attached to a weft. To achieve a more natural looking head of hair, use a sharp razor-like tool to split the weft band. This action causes the hair to separate expanding the amount of hair you have to work with. However, only split tracks that have thick wefts usually found in less expensive hair products.

3
Section your hair. Starting at the roots, part a section of the hair using a comb. Use a large comb or clip to hold the rest of your hair out of the way. This will allow you to apply the extension without other hair getting in your way.
-
4
Apply bond to weft. Using a syringe preferably, apply bonding glue to the weft of the extension. Wait for about 15 seconds to allow the glue to saturate the weft.
-
5
Attach extension. Now place your pre-glued hair extension as close to the pre-parted hairline as possible. Be very careful not to place the weft onto the scalp as this may cause scalp damage. Press the weft firmly into your hairline.
-
6
Blow dry over the area for approximately 15-30 seconds to secure the hold.
-
7
Part another section of hair and repeat the steps.
