How to Take Out Contact Lenses With Nails
It takes time to learn how to put your contacts in and take them out. But something that can make inserting your contacts even harder is having nails. You may already have long nails or you may have had them put on at the salon. Whichever the case, there is a way to remove your contacts with your nails.Instructions

1
Take a nail file and file any rough edges on your nails. You need them to be smooth so that you don't accidentally rip your contact lens or cut your eye.
-
2
Wash your hands with soap and water. You should never stick your fingers in your eye unless hands are clean. This will keep you from spreading an infection. Prepare your contact case by pouring saline or multipurpose solution in each side until it is almost full.

3
Stand in front of a mirror and begin with your right eye if you are right-handed. Look up with your right eye. Take the top of your thumbnail and place it on the contact lens and drag it down.

4
Pinch the contact with the side of your thumb (you will need to turn your thumb to the left after you drag it down) and the top of your pointer finger's nail. Pull outward and you will have the contact in between your two fingers.

5
Set the contact in your eye case. Cover it with the white (or cap with an R on it) cap.

6
Stand in front of the mirror again and go to your left eye. Look up with your left eye. Take the top of your thumbnail and place it on the contact lens and drag it down.
