How to Make a Period Emergency Kit
A period emergency kit can be a life saver the next time you get caught unprepared. Your kit should contain everything that you usually need for your menstrual cycle. The main benefit of a period emergency kit is that it is there in an emergency, so make several. Put one in your purse, one in your car, and one in your desk at work or your locker at school.Instructions

1
Choose the right container to hold the contents of your period kit. Zippered make up and cosmetic bags are excellent to use. Buy the ones that come in sets of various sizes and you can make a small kit for your purse, and a larger kit for you car. You probably want the ones that are made of material, not the plastic see through kind that display your contents.

Put in two or three tampons or sanitary pads, depending on which one you usually use. If you use both, put a couple of each into your kit. Add a few panty liners.

Remember whatever works for the pain. Some women find products sold specifically for period pain, such as Midol and Pamprin, give them the best relief of more symptoms. Other women turn to a more general over the counter pain medication such as aspirin or acetaminophen.

Fold a pair of panties and put them into the larger kits that you keep in your car, desk or locker. There probably isn't room to put a pair of panties in the kit you carry in your purse. Hopefully if the emergency is that extreme, you can get to one of the other kits.

Place your period emergency kits in all of the places suggested above. Monitor the contents of your kit and replenish the supplies as you use them.
