How to Recognize Symptoms of Bladder Infection

Look for the frequency of urination. Know that the affected person will pass urine more often after bladder infection.

Observe the color of urine. The urine would become dark yellow and foul smelling.

Note whether the frequent urination follows pain or burning sensation in the genital organs.

Observe whether the affected person passes blood along with urine. This happens in advanced stage of bladder infection.

Find out whether there is an increasing lower back pain, mild fever, vomiting and feeling of nausea.

Look for pain in the pelvic region. Adults may experience pain during sexual activities after bladder infection.
