How to Report Fraudulent Substance Abuse Centers

Fraudulent businesses can be found everywhere. They can even include scam operations claiming to be substance abuse treatment centers. In 2009, a treatment center in Milwaukee was suspected of taking money from the federal government by billing insured patients for treatment sessions that never took place. If you know that a substance abuse treatment center is practicing fraudulently, the most important thing to do is to report the crime. Reporting the crime stops the fraudulent business from stealing from the federal government.
