      Analyze the pill in question. Note the color, shape (circular, hexagon, oval, etc.) and any imprints you may find on the pill.

      Look at images of Lortab pills on the Internet. Lortab comes in a variety of colors and specific imprints, depending on the manufacturer and strengths. Most Lortab is an oval shape. Many are pink in color, and some are white with colored speckles. Drugs.com has a database of images of a variety of drugs, including Lortab. Using the images as a reference, compare the pill in question with the images of known Lortab.
