How to Find a Provider in Gerontology
Growing old happens. According to a 2009 Administration on Aging study, the majority of adults age 65 and over experience at least one chronic condition. If your medical condition negatively impacts you, specialized support can have a positive impact on your quality of life. Gerontology providers offer care and services to older adults and their families. Services available may include in-home care, respite care, or health care. Providers can consist of case managers, nurse aides, nurses, or adult day centers. Finding a provider can offer support to you or your caregiver.Instructions
