What is an ambulant toilet?

An ambulatory, or mobile toilet, is a wheelchair accessible, self-contained portable restroom. It is primarily used at outdoor events and construction sites, but can also be used in private residences for individuals who have difficulty accessing a traditional toilet. Ambulatory toilets are typically constructed of lightweight materials, such as aluminum or fiberglass, and are equipped with a flushing toilet, sink, and hand sanitizer.
