How to Find the NDC Number on the Product
The National Drug Code (or NDC) is a unique 10-digit number that is assigned to pharmaceutical drugs that are manufactured for human consumption. Under the 1972 Drug Listing Act drug manufacturing companies must provide the Food and Drug Administration (or FDA) with a list of ingredients used in the drugs. Once this is done, the FDA assigns the drug an NDC number. Drugs are reported and identified using the NDC. You can find the NDC number for any product as long as you have access to a computer with Internet access.Instructions
