How to Find a Medco Pharmacy

As a participant in the Medco prescription drug program, you can significantly lower the cost of your prescription drugs. In order to receive discounts on your drugs, you must purchase them through a participating Medco pharmacist. Depending upon your benefits plan, you may be eligible for mail-order fulfillment only. However, if your plan allows retail pharmacy fulfillment, you have the option of online or in-person prescription fulfillment.

  Visit the "Medco Health Resource Center" website. Click the "Login" link that is located in the upper right corner of the page.

  Enter your registered email address and password. Click "Login."

  If you have never registered to use the site, click the registration link that is located on the right side of the page. To register, you need your member ID number, which can be found on your prescription drug ID card.

  Click the "Prescriptions & Benefits" tab. Select the option to "Locate a Pharmacy."

  Enter your ZIP code in the search box. Click "Locate Pharmacy" to see a list of Medco pharmacies near your ZIP code.

  Dial the Medco automated customer service hotline at 800-473-3455. You must be using a touch-tone telephone.

  Enter your 10-digit telephone number at the prompt. Enter your Medco member ID number (from your prescription drug card).

  Press option "1" to get retail pharmacy locations.

  Enter your five-digit ZIP code to hear pharmacy locations near you.
