How to Reset the Battery Pack on a Stinger Levitator
The Stinger Levitator is a mobile workstation for use in hospitals and other medical facilities. It moves on swivel casters so you can take it with you from room to room. The device is also balanced to prevent it from tipping it over as you move it. Over time, you may notice the battery does not last quite as long as it originally lasted. Fortunately, this deficiency is easy to fix, although it takes a bit of time. With a little patience, you will regain extended battery life on your Stinger Levitator.Things You'll Need

1
Leave the Stinger Levitator device on until it deactivates itself to allow it to fully expend its charge. Disable the power-saving sleep mode if you have it enabled.
-
2
Locate the cable that runs from your computer down to the place where your Levitator's legs meet. This is where the battery is housed, and the cable is the power supply cable. Disconnect the power supply cable from the battery by grabbing the plug and pulling it out gently.
-
3
Remove the base boot from the rear bottom of your Levitator using the Phillips-head screwdriver. The base boot is shaped like the letter "A," and it is located where the caster legs connect in the middle.
-
4
Detach the battery pack from your Levitator by pulling it towards yourself and away from your Levitator.
-
5
Plug the battery into a wall outlet and allow it to charge for eight hours. It will need the full eight hours to completely reset.
-
6
Reinsert the newly reset and recharged battery by pressing it back into the slot where the Levitator's legs meet. Ensure that the battery is properly inserted by pushing and pulling on the battery gently. If it is properly inserted, the battery will not wiggle.
-
7
Place the base boot back over the battery. Screw it back into place with your screwdriver.
-
8
Plug the power supply cable running down from the computer into the slot at the bottom of your Levitator. Turn your Levitator's computer on to verify a successful charge.
