Contact your nearest recycling center. Ask if the center accepts crutches, what the drop-off times are and where medical devices should be donated. Then drop them off at the specified location.

If no local recycling center is available, contact one of the national organizations listed in the directory available via the "Resources" section below. The organization will be able to give you instructions for shipping the crutches to the appropriate location.

List your crutches in an online or print classified section. You can offer them for free or sell them for the going rate. Make sure to accurately describe the condition and the heights marked on the sides of the crutches.
