How to Apply for Disability in the State of Nevada

If you have a medical condition that will prevent you from working for at least a year or if your medical condition could result in death, you may qualify for disability benefits. Disability benefits are government benefits available to qualifying individuals who have paid into Social Security through payroll deductions while employed. In the state of Nevada, staff at local Social Security Administration offices make the determination about your eligibility for benefits. A number of factors determine your eligibility.
