Tektronix 200C Scope Mobile Specs

The Tektronix 200C Scope Mobile unit was made to transport several models of oscilloscopes manufactured by Tektronix. The unit is no longer manufactured, but it is available on auction sites and used medical equipment sites. Frequently, the units have been refurbished. Prices vary from $120 to $320, depending on whether the cart has been refurbished or not and its condition.

Dimensions and Weight

• The Tektronix 200C Scope Mobile cart is 29 inches high, 17 inches deep, and 19 inches high. It has a net weight of 19 pounds without an oscilloscope or accessories. The cart only takes 18 inches of aisle space. In addition, a storage area in the base for accessories measures 12 inches by 12 inches with a 3/4-inch depth.

Mechanical Features

• The 200C is made of cast aluminum. The rear rubber wheels are 6 inches and in a fixed position. The front castors, however, swivel and are only 2 inches in diameter.

• The Tektronix 200C Scope Mobile cart is for transporting the following Tektronix portable oscilloscope models: 465, 475, 453A, 454A, 481, 432, and 434. Because of their light weight and ergonomic design the carts can negotiate stairs.

  This cart has two trays. The top tray is 11 1/2 inches by 16 1/2 inches and is adjustable. The bottom tray's dimensions are 12 by 12 inches; it is in a fixed position.

  The oscilloscope tray (top) has friction locks. The tray can be positioned from 0 to 60 degrees for viewing the oscilloscope.

  A fingertip latch on the oscilloscope tray make it easy to move securely.
