Kimberly-Clark N95 Respirator Instructions
The Kimberly-Clark N95 is a particulate filter respirator used by medical personnel. It is extremely important when putting on the respirator that the fit be right. This is the only way to ensure full protection against airborne pathogens. It is sold in a variety of sizes and with surgical mask or safety seal film. Open the respirator by separating the edges and slightly bending the nose wire to form a curve.

Separate the two headbands using your index fingers and thumbs.

Cup the respirator under your chin and continue to hold the two headbands with your index finger and thumbs.

Pull the headbands over your head and release the lower band from your thumbs.

Put the remaining headband on the crown of your head and position the lower band on the base of your neck.

Press gently on the nose piece to adjust it for a good fit.

Move the respirator if needed to adjust it for a secure fit against your face.

Ask someone for assistance if you have trouble fitting the mask to your face. You may need to remove an obstruction such as jewelry or a hair piece. You may also need to choose a different mask size.

Inhale and exhale several times to check for proper fit. The mask should collapse when you inhale and expand when you exhale. If you feel air leaking between your face and the respirator, then it is not fit correctly.
