Directions for Using End Bac II

End Bac II, a spray disinfectant, appeared on the market from a well-known manufacturer in the early 1980s and was used extensively in veterinary and medical practice and as a multipurpose, general janitorial supply. As of 1996 it was withdrawn from the market by the manufacturer, but despite the fact that the product carried few health warnings, the exact reason for cancellation was not announced. Since that time, the product has reappeared with a similar formula, under the same or related names, and is labeled for unrestricted use.

Instructions

    • 1

Clean thoroughly by dusting, vacuuming and mopping a room, house or building. This is especially important when residents become ill or injured and need protection from contamination. It is also vital when the areas are being used by numerous visitors whose health cannot be monitored.

    • 2

Spray End Bac II disinfectant generously on the hard surfaces in the clean bathrooms, public and private, sports equipment storage closets, laundry hampers and food preparation surfaces or any other area likely to harbor moisture and viruses, bacteria and contamination. Be especially aware of spraying on objects and surfaces used by visitors and staff when there has been illness or infection in the area.

    • 3

Clean a hospital or sickroom as usual, wiping and mopping with diluted anti-bacterial cleaner in warm water. Allow wet surfaces to dry. Use End Bac II disinfectant as the last step. Spray every hard surface and allow to dry. Regular room ventilation will be sufficient while using End Bac II, and protective gloves will not be necessary.
