What Are Beakers Used for?

A beaker is a cylindrical container with flat sides most often made of glass, although beakers can also be made of plastic or metal. It has a small lip for pouring and can be manufactured in a variety of different sizes. Beakers are used in scientific laboratories for research, analysis and experimentation as well as in teaching science.
