Equine Therapy Research Grants

Equine therapy is the use of horses as means for people with disabilities to learn about themselves through the experiences of working with the animals. When patients work with the horses, they understand the animal's need for safety and security and begin to see the reflection of who they are and learn to deal with their own physical or emotional disabilities. Equine therapy is typically funded through private foundation grants.
