Document Imaging Certification

The Certified Document Imaging Architect, (CDIA) is an international credential in document imaging. Document imaging is the process of scanning, converting and storing documents into digital format. Certification is done by CompTIA, a non-profit international IT trade association.
  1. Certification

    • Candidates are required to pass a ninety minute exam of eighty-five questions designed to test the candidate's competency in understanding and analyzing the current business process and designing and implementing a document imaging plan. There are no prerequisites for the exam and the pass score is 700 on a scale of 100 to 900.

    Requirements

    • A CDIA is able to meet the document imaging needs of the client. A CDIA specialist is capable of designing, implementing and maintaining a document imaging management system. The specialist is able to determine cost effective solutions for the client.
