Plasma Donation Centers in Pennsylvania
Donated plasma, the liquid part of blood, is used to treat a number of ailments, such as hemophilia. Donation centers are always in need of plasma donors and can be found throughout the United States. Many centers compensate the donors for their plasma. There are several plasma donation centers in Pennsylvania.-
In State College: BioLife Plasma Services

The BioLife Plasma Services center is located off the southwest corner of Penn State University at 321 W. Beaver Ave., State College, PA 16801. The center can be contacted by phone at 814-237-5761. You can donate at the BioLife center a maximum of two times in a seven-day period; you can make $200-305 a month by donating plasma. Appointments can be scheduled online.
In McKeesport: PlasmaCare Inc.

This plasma donation center is located at 321 Fifth Ave., McKeesport, PA 15132. The center can be contacted by phone at 412-664-1820. New donors will receive up to $130 for their first four qualified donations. Compensation at other PlasmaCare centers may vary.

In Pittsburgh: Central Blood Bank

The downtown Central Blood Bank is located in the Law and Finance Building at 429 Fourth Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15219. There are three other Central Blood Bank plasma donation centers in the Pittsburgh area. They are in Monroeville, North Hills and South Hills. See website (below) for details.

In Philadelphia: American Red Cross

The American Red Cross in Philly is located at 8001 Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 101, Philadelphia, PA 19152. It can be contacted by phone at 215-322 - 6381. The Red Cross is a non-profit organization and does not pay donors for their plasma. It allows donors to donate their plasma only once every 56 days.
