- Non-lotion dish or hand soap

Purchase an empty foam soap dispensing bottle at a kitchen and bath specialty store or a store such as Walmart or Target. Specialty companies such as Pampered Chef also sell the bottles. Choose a size based on your requirements. Bathrooms often require smaller bottles than kitchens.

Fill the bottle to create a 1 1/2 inch layer of soap. Use a non-lotion dish or hand soap to avoid clogging. Anti-bacterial soaps work well.

Add water to within 1 inch of the top of the bottle.

Secure the bottle top, shake and pump.
