How to Refill a Script Under Tricare for Life
A script is a written order from a physician for you to receive certain prescription medications. Tricare For Life (TFL) has several options available for you to use when filling your prescription. You must ensure that you are enrolled in DEERS for your insurance and prescription coverage to be valid. In order to have a prescription filled and be eligible for Tricare For Life, you must be enrolled in Medicare Part B. Medicare will be filed first and then TFL. You will be responsible for any co-pay or remaining balance after the pharmacy determines what both insurance programs will cover.Instructions
